👀 Things I'm Keeping an Eye On

  • Lamar Jackson (ankle), my QB4, is expected to return Sunday against Buffalo after missing two games with Tyler Huntley under center, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

  • Saquon Barkley (hamstring/back) and DeVonta Smith (hamstring) both missed Thursday's practice, as did Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) and Britain Covey (knee). Jaydon Blue and Elijah Mitchell were the only healthy running backs at practice, so check the inactives before the Eagles visit Washington on Sunday night.

  • Travis Kelce (ankle), my TE3, went from a full practice Wednesday to limited Thursday. Friday's final report is the one to check.

  • A.J. Brown (ankle/knee) missed Thursday's practice, his first since returning from injured reserve, and says he's not at 100%. He has still played 76% and 91% of the Patriots' snaps in his last two games.

  • Jeremiyah Love (ankle), Arizona's rookie running back, has a shot to return Sunday at Dallas after missing two games.

  • Rashee Rice (hamstring/knee) practiced Wednesday and Thursday coming off the Chiefs' bye and looks close to returning Sunday against Denver after missing two games.

  • Breece Hall (quad) was limited for a second straight day. He hasn't played since Week 3.

📊 Streaming Edge

I like to keep an eye on player ownerships as the week goes on. This newsletter sends on Fridays and your weekly waivers have been running since Wednesday so the hot pickups are definitely gone. In this section I’ll highlight potential starters that are still available in over 50% of leagues.

QB Streamer: Jacoby Brissett - 23.0% Ownership

My QB9 this week, and one of the best volume plays at the position. He leads the league in pass attempts and threw 48 of them against Denver last week, now facing a Dallas defense that has been giving up yards all season in a game with a high projected total. He's been up and down, so expect a floor with a ceiling rather than a lock.

TE Streamer: Brenton Strange - 48.0% Ownership

My TE8 this week, coming off the bye and hosting a Colts defense in a game where Jacksonville is a double-digit favorite. He's still available in just under half of leagues.

DST Streamer: Washington Commanders - 38.4% Ownership

My #4 defense this week and still under 40% rostered, hosting a Philadelphia offense without Jalen Hurts and dealing with injuries in its backfield.

Other streaming options: Detroit Lions - 27.4%, Atlanta Falcons - 6.8%, Chicago Bears - 23.9% (Monday night)
